Aaron J. Humphrey, LC, President
Aaron is recognized as an expert in electric lighting, daylighting, controls, and energy- efficient designs, and was a member of the first ‘class’ of Lighting Certified designers in 1997. He started in theatrical design at Bates College in Lewiston, ME, and worked in professional theatre in Boston and Los Angeles. In 1992, he started working at Colortran, Inc, a manufacturer of theatrical dimmers, controls, and fixtures. Aaron was International Projects Manager Lighting Fixture Product Manager for 3 years. In 1995, he moved to Portland, OR, where he went into full-time architectural lighting design. In Portland, he was the lighting designer for Glumac International, a large M/E/P engineering firm. Aaron moved to Colorado in 2001, where he worked for two different lighting design firms. He founded Airmada Lighting Design in 2007.
